Welcome to ConfyChair. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and conditions governing your use of our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ConfyChair, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If representing an institution, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Description of Services
ConfyChair provides a cloud-based platform for managing academic and professional conferences. We provide technology and infrastructure; we do not act as the owner, organizer, or sponsor of any individual conference.
3. Organizer and Participant Responsibilities
- Organizers: Fully responsible for conference details, pricing, deadlines, and communication. Must comply with data protection, intellectual property, and financial regulations.
- Participants: Must review conference information before making payments. For manual payments, ConfyChair does not guarantee funds. Participants must follow the Organizer's specific policies.
4. Payment Terms
- Manual Payment: Participants pay the Organizer directly. ConfyChair only records status and is not involved in fund handling.
- Gateway Payment: Participants pay through ConfyChair's integrated system. ConfyChair acts as a facilitator, collecting and disbursing payments on behalf of the Organizer. All fees paid to ConfyChair are non-refundable except as stated in the Refund Policy.
5. User Accounts
Users must provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
6. User Content
Users retain ownership of submitted content (abstracts, papers, etc.). By using the platform, you grant ConfyChair a limited license to store, process, and display content solely for platform operation.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, and graphics developed by ConfyChair are the property of PT Berlian Otomasi Teknologi.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use the platform for fraudulent purposes, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools (bots/scrapers) to extract data.
9. Platform Availability & Maintenance
Temporary downtime for maintenance or updates is not considered a breach of agreement.
10. Limitation of Liability
ConfyChair is not responsible for disputes between Organizers and Participants or indirect losses. Total liability is limited to the amount paid to ConfyChair for the specific service causing the issue.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless PT Berlian Otomasi Teknologi from claims resulting from your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes shall be resolved in the District Court of Bandung, Indonesia.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
