Can I use ConfyChair for a national seminar or a call for papers?
Yes. Each conference or seminar gets a public page for its call for papers, with topics and deadlines for abstracts, full papers, camera-ready and registration. One organization account can run multiple conferences and seminars.
How is ConfyChair different from EasyChair or OJS?
OJS is built to run journals, not conferences. ConfyChair is built for conferences, following the flow Indonesian committees use: abstract first, LoA, payment by QRIS or virtual account, double-blind review, check-in, certificates and a publisher-ready package, all in one system in Indonesian and English.
Can authors submit an abstract first and the full paper later?
Yes. You can run an abstract-first flow, where the full paper is due after the abstract is accepted, or accept full papers directly. The committee can also submit on an author's behalf.
How does double-blind review stay anonymous?
Author identities are filtered out in the database queries that serve reviewers, not merely hidden in the interface. Reviewers from the authors’ own affiliation are skipped or flagged when you assign.
Which payment methods can participants use?
QRIS, virtual accounts, bank transfer and cards through the integrated payment gateway. Payments are verified automatically and invoices are issued for each registration. Payment integration is part of the Pro plan.
Can we issue letters of acceptance and certificates automatically?
Yes. Design your own templates for letters of acceptance (abstract or paper), invitation letters, ID cards and certificates for presenters, attendees, reviewers and committee, then issue them in bulk.
Does ConfyChair help with proceedings publication?
It exports a publisher-ready bundle: the camera-ready PDFs plus a metadata file with authors, affiliations, countries, ORCID iDs, CRediT roles, funding, and ethics and AI-use declarations. The publication agreement itself stays between your committee and the publisher.
Can we run an online or hybrid conference, in Indonesian and English?
Yes. A conference can be on-site, online or hybrid, with a program schedule and QR check-in for on-site sessions. The whole platform is available in Indonesian and English.
